DAY OF HAPPINESS IN THE HIGHLANDS OF NORTH ICELAND.
A DREAM TOUR ON A JRJ-SUPER-JEEP

Pick up at 08:00 am from Akureyri and the guesthouse Himnasvalir in Skagafjörður.


We drive to Varmahlíð and from there we head up to the highlands to Laugarfell, a natural hot spring pool. Drive to Sprengisandur, a black sanded desert and from there to Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe, crossing Gæsavatnaleið which is the tougheste highland road in Iceland. Next destination is Askja in Dyngjufjöll where we will be stop in Drekagil. Lake Askja and Viti, a hot spring pool will be visited.From there we drive to Herðubreið and to Mývatn before reaching a destination in Akureyri.


Price per person is 400 euro- Minimum 2 person.
Price includes: Tour guide, dinner, breakfast, lunch.


Be sure to wear warm clothes and steady shoes.
