JRJ-Superjeeps in Skagafjörður was founded in 1999 and has since then offered tours day trips in Iceland.
An active website was set up in four languages through which all of our trips have been sold.
Our Vision.
JRJ/Superjeeps was founded in 1999 by Director Jóhann R. Jakobsson in Varmahlíð.
The idea of superjeep tours came after years of interest and driving in the wilderness of Iceland.
The first real superjeep tour took place when Jóhann bought his first superjeep, Gaz-69 Russian army truck. In that truck he went on an adventure trip that lasted for 10 days over Sprengisand, Gæsavatnaleið north of Vatnajökull, to Askja and all the way to Mývatn.
Today we offer all year round tours for those how want to enjoy Icelandic nature at its best.
